Despite the 2006 Yarra Valley vintage being early and warm, the cool conditions for the south end of the valley allowed our shiraz to ripen to perfection and still be picked in line with previous years.

With the 2007 Yarra Valley harvest being one of the warmest and earliest on record, we were able to fully ripen our Shiraz to its maximum potential. As a result this is one of the deepest, richest and most complex Gracedale Hills Shiraz we have yet produced. This wine may be enjoyed immediately or further improved with cellaring.
Tasting Notes: A richly complex Shiraz, smoky spice aromas, deep red colour, lively on the palate, with cherry and blackberry fruit, and fine tannins on the finish. We believe this is our best Shiraz to date...
